Description Our client in the service industry has an immediate opportunity for a degreed Sr. Accountant to work in office on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. This is a long-term contract estimated to last at least 6 months. Responsibilities: Oversee general accounting functions, including but not limited to, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Ensure accurate ledger entries and timely account reconciliations. Coordinate and direct budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and financial planning. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and decision-making support. Collaborate with managerial staff and other colleagues to understand and manage financial needs. Handle month-end close, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entry preparations using D365 and Hyperion Financial Reporting tools.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations Proficient knowledge of General Ledger Experience in creating Journal Entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close Knowledge of Pivot Table Proficiency in using VLOOKUP Experience with D365 Proficiency in Hyperion Financial Reporting Experience with Intercompany Accounting Proficiency in handling Intercompany Transactions Experience in Journal Entry Preparation Proficiency in Month-end Journal Entries Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
