Job Title: Sr. Associate, Program Finance Job Code: 18511 Job Location: Fort Wayne, IN Job Description: The Spectral Solutions Division is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join our team. Our Financial Analysts play a key role in keeping our programs on track utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) to provide accurate and complete information for our customers. We are seeking a proactive, self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with key functional stakeholders including Program Management and Engineering. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented with good organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking. Successful candidates will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a commitment to quality while developing their leadership skills as a key business partner. Essential Functions:
Develop time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, support Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and cost and schedule integration with moderate supervision
Broad knowledge for financial performance of their programs, providing management with an early warning of potential performance issues, identifying risks and offering solutions
Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management and financial support associated with sales, profit and cash flow
Develop quarterly EACs; analyze/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data
Analyze costs and staffing ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct end objective
Generate program financial artifacts such as EV reports, graphs, and analysis, as required to include customer reporting
Educate PMO and CAMS with internal reports on cost and schedule performance
Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior program finance experience.
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience and understanding of business financial management techniques including government and commercial contracts, earned value analysis, cost analysis, financial planning, cash flow, progress payments and billing milestones
Basic level knowledge of Earned Value and EVMS highly desired
Advanced experience with Excel and other MS OFFICE tools
Experience with Deltek Cobra, Peoplesoft and Hyperion is a plus
Ability to build collaborative relationships, earn trust, and thrive in an inclusive environment
DoD contractor experience preferred
Security Clearance or the ability to attain one is preferred
