Staff Accountant

Description We are aiming to fill a position of Staff Accountant in our team located in MARTINSVILLE, Indiana. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize various skills including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy. Conduct routine and ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support financial operations. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of entries. Update and maintain journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded. Participate in the month-end close process, including the preparation of monthly closing schedules. Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to enhance efficiency and accuracy of processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures. Assist in other accounting projects as needed. Requirements Possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Demonstrated expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations Solid understanding and experience with General Ledger Ability to make accurate Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting purposes Experience with Oracle financial software Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting and financial tasks Knowledge and experience in using SAP for financial management.
