Description We are in the market for a Tax Preparer to join our team in FISHERS, Indiana. The job function entails providing tax preparation services for our clients, utilizing key skills such as individual tax return preparation and expertise in Ultra Tax software. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Utilize Ultra Tax software to prepare tax returns efficiently and accurately. Ensure all customer tax information and records are accurate and up-to-date. Respond to customer inquiries related to their tax preparation. Keep track of industry trends and tax law changes to provide the most accurate service. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when required. Assist customers with their individual tax preparation needs. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to tax compliance in all operations. Resolve customer complaints and provide necessary information. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service. Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and laws. Requirements The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a Tax Preparer role. Proficient in using Ultra Tax software. Experience in preparing individual tax returns is essential. Excellent knowledge of tax regulations and laws. Strong data entry and computational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
