Position Description: - The Telecom Manufacturing Infrastructure Analyst provides telecom and network support for manufacturing, and lab areas within the Pharma located at LTC-South. This includes support of the manufacturing network / telecom infrastructure and processes, building automation equipment installation, end user support, and special projects that involve standard and customized network configurations.

Key Objectives:
  • Perform technical requirement analysis of telecom and network infrastructure design
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding requirements, network configuration requirements, additional hardware requirements and costs
  • Install and configure networking and telecom hardware, software and any additional networking wired and wireless configurations
  • Provide qualified infrastructure telecom platforms
  • Train end user(s) on the operations of new equipment, software, networking, etc
  • Having knowledge of troubleshooting problems on platforms including; specifically Citrix, RealVNC, VDI, Linux, iGel technology, WinXP/7/10 OS & workstation hardware.
  • Consultant for questions regarding infrastructure, compatibility, telecom and network configuration issues
  • Provide strategy for immediate and future upgrades of telecom hardware and software applications
  • Acting as the telecom liaison for Lilly Pharma manufacturing on projects and LCM activities related to network upgrades for lab and automation systems
  • Providing supporting documentation for validation and testing of upgrades
  • Assist with validation of new and existing systems by providing technical design information to assure GMP data integrity

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field OR
  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience supporting telecom and networking manufacturing opera
