Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionThis company specializes in high-end hiking, hunting, and sporting boots and waders. Their distribution center in Whitestown supplies for the Eastern half of the United States. From this site, they fulfill orders for individuals and other retail stores, as well as online orders. Individuals will be responsible for: Picking items from inventory Packing items for shipping Processing incoming shipments Processing outbound orders Using an RF scanner to track items Re-stacking pallets Placing labels for shipment Shrink wrapping Unloading containers. All new employees start off unloading trucks for the first 60 days for 2.5 - 3 hours a day. They will learn staging, picking, and packing in the afternoon.Hard Skills

Experience in a fast-paced environment

Experience lifting up to 50 lbs.

Standing and walking for the duration of the shift

1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Straight 9 hour days for now. Will pick up to 5-10 hours OT during peak season in November)
