Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Clive, Iowa. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, working within the accounting industry. You will be instrumental in processing payables, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to our team's efficiency.Responsibilities: Accurate processing of accounts payable. Managing data entry tasks and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Handling invoice processing and ensuring all invoices are paid on time. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks. Assisting with billing procedures and ensuring all bills are sent out in a timely manner. Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required. Ensuring all financial records are kept up to date and are accurate. Providing support to the accounting team and other related tasks as needed. Resolving customer inquiries professionally and promptly. Assisting in processing customer credit applications.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations Demonstrable experience with Billing procedures Skilled in Data Entry tasks Knowledge of Invoice Processing methods Ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues A degree in Accounting or a related field would be advantageous Familiarity with accounting software and databases Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Strong analytical skills and ability to identify errors Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Excellent organization skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
