Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is based in Cedar Falls, IA and is within the industrial and agriculture industry. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be expected to manage vendor accounts, handle coding invoices, and use accounting software effectively.Responsibilities: Implement the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for accurate processing of customer credit applications Utilize Accounting Software Systems to maintain accurate customer credit records Manage vendor accounts effectively, ensuring the smooth running of Accounts Payable (AP) Perform Accrual Accounting tasks, supporting the overall accounting functions Conduct regular auditing to ensure financial compliance and accuracy Oversee the Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient banking transactions Validate and approve invoices for payment, ensuring all details are accurate Code invoices correctly to ensure accurate account coding Execute bank deposits as required, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on their account status.Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is essential Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary Capability to manage Accounting Functions is critical Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is expected Understanding of Accrual Accounting is needed Demonstrated experience in Auditing is required Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is a plus Ability to handle Approved Invoices is crucial Experience in Code Invoices is necessary Proficiency in Bank Deposit processing is beneficial Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
