Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Johnston. This role will play a critical part in our finance department, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable functions. Responsibilities Oversee and manage account coding to ensure accuracy. Operate and maintain accounting software systems to streamline processes. Handle Accounts Payable (AP) duties, including invoice processing and payment. Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of financial data. Utilize Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic transactions. Manage the use of Concur for travel and expense management. Familiarize and work with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and other financial services. Engage in other accounting functions as necessary to support the finance department.Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is required. Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is essential. Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary. Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is needed. Demonstrable experience in Auditing is a must. Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is required.
