- This is an exciting, ongoing opportunity with high visibility on a mission critical application for the Dept. of Revenue that has director and governor visibility into the project. This is a multimillion-dollar project that needs a polished business analyst/technical lead to act as a techno/functional lead to this project.
- The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the state of Iowa is looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to join our Application Development team.
- The job will require working with existing teams including projects utilizing a mix of vendor solutions and custom development. Preference will be given to candidates with an application development or business analyst background.
- Act as the product champion, and will be able to evangelize the product vision effectively to their team and to stakeholders
- Understand fundamentals of software development process such the fundamentals of the iterative/agile methodology.
- Proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a diverse team
- Collaborate with and present to business and technical teams as well as different levels of leadership
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with business analysis, creating and maintaining documentation, translating between business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables meet customer goals.
- Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the business partner and the operational aspects of the project.
- Facilitate regular status meetings with the project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders. Solicit stakeholder feedback to validate priorities and compromises.
- Manage risks and track issues throughout the project.
- Experience leading agile ceremonies including daily standup meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives a plus.
- Experience working with teams that developed web-based solutions
- Ability to write simple SQL queries
