What You'll Do

• Verify that our customers have coverage

• Investigate and gather information

• Accurately document all decisions, correspondences, reports, and discussions

• Evaluate, prepare forms, and claim materials for processing

• Evaluate your investigations to make decisions about the claims as needed

• Receive and make outgoing phone calls. Contacts may include claimants, medical providers, state agencies, and internal claim and medical review staff

• Resolve claims in the best interests of the insured, the claimant, and Sentry as needed

• Attend new employee training program that includes various systems, policy and procedures, and company culture

What it Takes

• Associate Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• 0-2 years of related work experience

• Prior customer service experience providing customer solutions and support is preferred

• Exceptional communication and organization skills

• Strong working knowledge of PC based computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office

• Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills along with analytical and mathematical skills
