We're seeking a Cloud Administrator to join our team! The Cloud Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Exchange Hybrid, and limited Azure SAAS/IAAS offerings. The primary responsibility of the Cloud Administrator will be to provide the highest quality Active Directory and Exchange environment for Information Technology Services and UnityPoint Health’s regional Affiliates use. This includes development and configuration of Enterprise-wide group policies, Active Directory consolidation, managing Exchange and support for Cloud based services.This position is open to remote/work from home with strong preference for candidates residing within the UPH geographies of Iowa, Illinois, & Wisconsin.COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Requirement: It is required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza. Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Active Directory Forest, establishing problem determination and resolution procedures and producing availability reporting, which outlines performance characteristics.

Responsible for managing enterprise PKI infrastructure.

Monitor new developments in technology to determine their applicability to the systems and how we can use them to improve productivity.

Responsible for assisting the Information Protection team with defining and administering security procedures which protect information in Active Directory and ensures appropriate access to the directory structure.

Responsible for overseeing resolution of directory services issues and project workflow utilizing our enterprise tracking system.

Active Directory process automation using PowerShell scripting.

Responsible for system tuning and recommendations regarding directory service enhancements to maintain optimal system performance.

Reviews system backup methodology ensures consistency across all enterprise domains.

Email Administration

Provide administration & support for Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online

Creating, Configuring, and Managing Message Routing

Responsible for overseeing resolution of email messaging issues and project workflow utilizing our enterprise tracking system.

Prescribe system backup / disaster recovery procedures and direct recovery operations.

Ensure standardization and documentation of processes.

Evaluate and integrate new Electronic Email Communications technologies

Cloud Administration

Microsoft 365 administration (Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online)

Maintaining and troubleshooting Multi-Factor Authentication systems

Implementing Compliance, Governance, and Management policies.

Work with other teams or vendors to create enterprise apps or app registrations for SSO.

Evaluate and integrate new solutions using Cloud Services

Ensure standardization and documentation of processes.

Develop and maintain Office 365-based backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent on-the-job experience will be accepted only if previous experience applies to specific supported systems and products.  

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience.

Working knowledge of Network Operating Systems (Windows 2012 & 2016), Microsoft Exchange, Azure Active Directory Services, DNS and Active Directory Federated Services

Experience in health care compliance, quality assurance or health care administration is highly desired. 

License(s)/Certification(s):

Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Requires highly developed communications and negotiation skills to effectively work with all levels of management throughout the UnityPoint Health, its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Ability to understand and deal effectively with problems and opportunities, which arise, in a complex multi-directory environment including Cloud based networks.

General knowledge of Office 365 Software.
