This individual will leverage both technical expertise and leadership to unlock actionable insights from extensive datasets, enabling sales, marketing, and operational teams to excel. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business analytics alongside leadership experience.Key Responsibilities:
Act as a hands-on leader, providing strategic direction, setting team goals, and driving overall analytics strategy.
Delegate effectively, encouraging accountability within the team while remaining deeply engaged in individual and team development.
Analyze and transform idle data into actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions.
Collaborate directly with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for growth, improved customer engagement, and revenue optimization.
Implement robust data-driven practices to ensure departments are aligned with organizational goals.
Utilize BI tools to create impactful visualizations and dashboards that drive data accessibility and clarity across the organization.
Define and maintain measures of success by developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
Stay updated on the latest analytics tools, technologies, and best practices, advocating their inclusion where appropriate.
Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize analytics capabilities.
Leverage data to identify trends, improve cost management, and execute predictive modeling for better operational outcomes.
Act as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring data solutions align with organizational objectives.
Present findings and strategic recommendations clearly to leadership and non-technical stakeholders, fostering trust in data-driven initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role in data analytics.
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teams while performing annual performance reviews and regular check-ins.
Hands-on experience with Tableau is a must; proficiency in other analytics platforms is a plus.
Strong understanding of the healthcare sector, with a focus on workers' compensation and group health insurance industry analytics.
Demonstrated ability to align data insights with overarching business strategies and goals.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities to work across diverse teams and departments.
