Description We are hiring a proactive and tech-savvy Development Assistant to join our client's team and work closely with the Development Director. The Development Assistant is critical role in building and maintaining positive relationships with donors, ensuring their experiences with the organization are fulfilling, and ultimately contributing to the organization's fundraising success and mission fulfillment.Opportunity provides way for you to make a positive impact professionally with the flexibility of a part-time schedule (approximately 25 hours weekly). Responsibilities:

Update and maintain donor records and files in database accurately and in a timely manner, including pledges, donations, and acknowledgements.

Prepare and generate reports from the database for the Development Director to support fundraising efforts.

Serve as the initial point of contact for donors and sponsors, communicating professionally and confidentially on behalf of the Foundation.

Produce written correspondence for acknowledgements, appeals, and stewardship to convey the impact of donors' contributions.

Organize and maintain Foundation's information and documents systematically.

Assist with various projects as directed by the Development Director.

Requirements Experience working with databases, preferably Access, CRM systems, or nonprofit fundraising software like Bloomerang.Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools; not afraid to experiment and write reports.Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus, as collaboration with the accounting department may be required.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to record donations accurately and consistently.Ability to work well with minimal supervision, while also proactively communicating with the Development Director.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
