Finance Specialist (Finance Operations)

Use Your Strengths at Wellmark as a Financial Specialist! The primary function of this role is the handling, depositing and recording of all incoming funds to various systems, maintaining financial records, and researching and answering payment/refund inquiries, all within established timeframes and quality standards. You will ensure that all banking information is set up accurately and timely. You will also collaborate with personnel from banks to resolve payment/receipt issues and work with cross-functional teams that support and enhance corporate liquidity measures and issue resolution.  Ideal candidates have an understanding of payment processing and banking, or experience working in billing and collection processing. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to learn new systems quickly. You thrive in an environment that requires efficiency, attention to detail, and tight windows in which work must be completed. You are cool under pressure and love maintaining positive relationships with your customers. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to think proactively, operate independently and collectively, and possess the ability to prioritize time effectively.
