HR Generalist

Description We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in CEDAR FALLS, Iowa. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity with opportunity to earn a permanent seat! You will be responsible for various HR functions including compliance, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and recruitment among others.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage recruitment processes, including sourcing potential candidates and conducting interviews Maintain and update personnel files as well as HR policies and procedures Handle employee relations issues and provide appropriate solutions Ensure compliance with all relevant HR laws and regulations Manage and administer benefits functions, including FMLA Handle terminations in accordance with established policies and procedures Engage in communication tasks within the HR department and across the organization Use social media platforms for recruitment and employer branding efforts Oversee compensation & benefits, ensuring fairness and adherence to company policies.Requirements Knowledge of Benefit Functions Excellent Communication skills Familiar with Compliance procedures Ability to manage Employee Relations Understanding of FMLA Knowledge of Compensation & Benefits Experience in HR Compliance Interviewing skills Proficient in Personnel File Maintenance Familiar with Policies & Procedures Experience in Recruiting Ability to perform Recruitment - Sourcing Skilled in using Social Media for recruitment Experience with Termination proceduresRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
