Lab Technician Opportunities in Coralville Qualifications:

Associates degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field

Laboratory experience

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field preferred

Shift Options:

Friday - Sunday, 7pm - 7:30am

Friday - Sunday, 7am - 7:30pm

Monday - Thursday, 9pm - 7:30am

Monday - Thursday, 4pm - 2:30am

Job Description:

Use a variety of lab equipment and processes to transform raw materials into final products

Synthesize oligos on various synthesizer platforms and attach modifications utilizing various techniques

Cleave and deprotect oligos utilizing appropriate methods

Quantify and sample DNA fragments for quality control tests

Efficiently multitask while running multiple processes

Use customer software in windows based environment

Troubleshoot product, process, or equipment problems

Work efficiently independently and/or in a team
