Mailroom Clerk

Description Robert Half is seeking out a Mailroom Clerk to join a Des Moines company temporarily to help out with the influx of mail that needs to be sorted, logged and distributed. This company is looking for someone who can jump in and get right to work during their busy season. If you are someone who prioritizing organization and enjoys multi-tasking take a look at this role! Job duties:

Receive, sort, log, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.

Maintain records of incoming packages, including delivery dates and names of recipients.

Respond to all mailroom related inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Regularly make rounds in the office to pick up outgoing mail and parcels.

Prior experience working in a mailroom or similar environment is preferred.

Ability to handle heavy packages and operate mailroom equipment.

Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic knowledge of postal rules and regulations.
