Job Title: Medical AssistantJob DescriptionAs a Medical Assistant, your primary duties will include but are not limited to: providing front and/or back office support, greeting patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner in compliance with Medical Group Practice protocols and workflows. You will also oversee patient check-in by ensuring medical records/charts have been pulled, patient data is current, appropriate paperwork is in order, and charts are reviewed/prepared. Additionally, you will conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs and record reasons for visit. Explaining procedures, performing treatments, and administering prescribed medications are part of the role. Overseeing patient check out by scheduling follow up appointments, collecting co-payments if applicable, ensuring paperwork is complete is also included. Lastly, you will be responsible for scheduling and confirming patient's appointments as well as reconciling co-payments at the end of each day.Hard Skills
