Network Engineer (On-site/No C2C)

Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for a Network Engineer. The position is located in the Quad Cities of Iowa. This is a 12 month contract assignment. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years of Network Engineer experience with previous telephony experience (PBX and VoIP).Responsibilities

• Monitor/Manage/Break-fix/Refresh/ Design, Specify, Order, configure Cisco devices, including switches and VoIP gateways and routers.
• Walk through the plant and identify where a VoIP phone should be located and what network cabinet to connect to.
• Migrating this Client site from a PBX environment to a VoIP environment.
• Be comfortable with Telephony acronyms as well as general networking terms.
• Support a senior network engineer and assist as necessary
• Have the ability to physically walk a large facility, rack mount network devices, and have a high safety awareness of surroundings

• Network Engineer - 5+ years
• Telephony experience with PBX/VoIP
• Rack Mount network devices
• Excellent communication skills
• Network + certification - preferred
• CCNA - preferred
• Overtime and weekend work will be required
