Conducts prospective drug use review or evaluates a patient’s medication record for purposes of promoting therapeutic appropriateness and ensuring rational drug therapy.

Provides, documents, and retains a record of the final verification for the accuracy, validity, completeness, or appropriateness of a medication order prior to delivery of the medication.

Provides patient counseling, dosing consultation, or patient-specific drug information.

Responsible for all functions performed in the practice of pharmacy. Maintains responsibility for any and all delegated functions including functions delegated to pharmacist-students, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy support persons

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pharmacy.

Obtain Iowa Pharmacist License within 90 days of hire

Valid Iowa Driver’s License and proof of insurance

Ability to read, write, and speak English
