Prepress Technician

Tidewater Direct LLC, an equal opportunity employer is seeking a full-time Prepress technician for its West Branch, Iowa facility. If you have experience in the printing industry, XMF and Adobe, we want to talk to you!

A Prepress technician is responsible for receiving and reviewing art, making PDF and hard copy proofs, laying out jobs to print and making plates using a variety of Adobe and other graphic arts specific software. The ideal candidate is proficient with general prepress processes including preflight, proofing and platemaking.

The position is for our day shift. You hours would be 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday, equal to 40 hours each week plus overtime when necessary. Occasional call-ins and flexibility in schedule is required in this position.

Tidewater Direct LLC provides full benefits after 90 days of successful work demonstration, including health, dental, vision, LTD, Life, 401K, paid time off, and paid holidays. Pay is $25-$28 per hour based on experience.

Preps

Understanding of:

Digital Prepress Procedures

Platemaking

Proofing both soft and hard copy
