Quality Assurance Analyst II

Description We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst II based in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, United States. The selected candidate will join our team and play a crucial role in planning and conducting quality control tests and analysis to ensure that all application products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements. This role also encompasses performing test planning, test design, and test execution along with various administrative and support duties.Responsibilities: Conduct multiple areas of software testing including manual functional testing, manual regression testing, and executing previously automated tests. Analyze requirements and address any issues found to the QA Manager and project team members. Document test cases and trace them to requirements using a Test Case Management tool such as qTest. Investigate problems reported in production application and liaise with the appropriate parties for resolution. Discover and document bugs. Use existing test data and generate new test data as required. Support the QA project lead in devising test strategies, test plans, and project reports as needed. Act as the QA project lead on projects of low to medium complexity. Ensure high-quality, readability, and timely delivery of assignments. Prepare QA estimations, Test Strategy, and Project Closure documents. Generate and communicate the Daily Status Report for active projects. Proactively identify test issues and devise strategies to mitigate schedule impact. Delegate tasks to the offshore team in accordance with the test plan and daily changes. Participate in the creation of automation framework. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst role or similar Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking Demonstrated ability to perform Integration Testing and Validation Testing Experience in Agile Scrum methodology In-depth knowledge of Salesforce APIs for system integration Strong understanding of SQL for database management and testing Familiarity with qTest for managing testing processes Experience in XML for data transport Understanding of finance and annuities is preferred Proven experience in System Integration Testing Knowledge of GUI Testing for user interface validation Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
