Overview: Presbyterian Homes & Services is hiring RNs to join the Long Term Care team at Prairie Gate in Council Bluffs, IA. We are

currently hiring for:

AM/Day:
  • Full Time AM/Day
  • Part Time AM/Day
  • 12 Hour Shifts
  • Every Other Weekend Required
  • 2 Week Block Schedule
AM/Day = 7am-7:30pm

NOC/Overnight = 7pm-7:30am

Prairie Gate will offer a full continuum of care for up to 150 residents. It will include 36 independent living apartments, 24 assisted living apartments, 18 memory care apartments and 72 skilled nursing suites.

At the heart of the community will be the two-story 21,000 square foot Town Center offering an array of amenities and services, including community gathering spaces, restaurant-style dining, a bistro, salon, library, club room, business office, guest suite, chapel and wellness center with aerobics studio. Outdoor pathways, prairie plantings, gardens and a courtyard will be just outside the doors in a beautiful patio setting.

Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the provision and monitoring of high quality clinical care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
