The vision of the ESL team is as follows: To build an enterprise integration platform focused on microservice APIs serving up real-time data. The platform will be built on top of Azure-based building block technologies (e.g. API Management, Functions, Event Hubs, etc.)Experience and comfort in this space is a big plusThis is a technical team which needs both a PO and SM with strong technical acumen and experienceThe Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating the learning and growth of one or more Agile teams in developing a lean-Agile mindset, improving practices and guiding them to more predictable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Teach team members Agile mindset and frameworks, practices and processes. Encourage team to explore healthy Agile development practices, focus on quality and technical excellence, predictable delivery, automation, and continuous delivery.Facilitate and manage sprints, daily stand up meetings, lead/educate team on agile process. Facilitate sprint planning, sprint backlog refinement, daily stand-up, sprint review and sprint retrospective.Educate and encourage a balanced backlog that delivers valuable features for customers, reduces technical debt, provides business value, and enables product sustainability.Facilitate continuous improvement and the development of a learning culture on team.Proactively manage and mitigate risks and issues across Scrum team, leveraging leadership as needed.Maintain open line of communication with scrum team and product management to ensure all stakeholders are kept in the loop. Act as a buffer between external distractions to minimize disruptions and help the team to focus.Respond to changing priorities and resolve resource conflicts to achieve results.Monitor and report on agile metrics and scrum team performance (burndown charts, velocity, etc.).Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or an IT related discipline, or equivalent work related experience. At least five years of work related experience leading Scrum events: sprint planning, daily stand-ups/huddles, reviews / demos and retrospectives.

Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a clear sense of priorities. Ability to give and receive feedback.
