Date Posted:2023-03-08-08:00Country:United States of AmericaLocation:HIA32: Cedar Rapids, IA 400 Collins Rd NE , Cedar Rapids, IA, 52498-0505 USAPosition Role Type:HybridThe Core Technologies team is looking for a Product Line Value Stream Manager (VSM) to support Connected Domain Solution (CDS) and Multi-Level Security (MLS) product lines in support of critical programs and strategic initiatives such as Connected Battlespace and Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). This individual will be responsible for supporting pursuits, leading development programs, managing discretionary projects, performing road-mapping activities, and ensuring that the product line is healthy from cradle-to-grave. The ideal candidate will be a senior professional with previous product line experience, and highly developed skills in Value Stream Management.Primary Responsibilities:

Coordination with engineering, VSL and Business Development to create and manage product roadmaps.

Manage production efforts to ensure customer and sales commitments are met.

Lead development and production transition programs – accountable for schedule and cost performance and communication of status to leadership

Champion the use of common building block architectures from across Mission Systems, and the broader Collins and / or Raytheon to create "best of breed" solutions.

Drive complex, key approaches for certification, IP valuation and licensing, and export approach for CDS products and communicate product line position to stakeholders.

Chair product Change Control Boards (CCBs) to manage changes to product baselines, from any input area, and ensure alignment with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Be able to travel up to 10%

Must have previous experience in Product Line Management

Must have a technical background and experience managing development programs

Must have experience transitioning products to production

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an active US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (or higher) security clearance

Have demonstrated ability to brief senior leadership both internally and externally

Have demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple efforts simultaneously

Have demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams

Have experience with leveraging efforts and technologies from other Collins Aerospace organizations and across Raytheon
