As a Software Engineer supporting the Digital Workforce team, you will help design, build, and support solutions that enable employees across Wellmark to work more efficiently through automation, AI, data, and modern workplace technologies. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to developing and enhancing tools that improve business processes, increase productivity, and deliver meaningful value to our employees and customers. In this role, you will partner with other engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, solve technical challenges, and deliver scalable solutions using Microsoft's modern technology ecosystem. You will participate throughout the software development lifecycle, helping design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, automations, and reporting solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with technologies such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and other emerging automation and AI tools. As technology continues to evolve, you will be encouraged to learn new capabilities, explore innovative solutions, and apply best practices to support business needs while maintaining security and quality standards. Working closely with senior engineers and platform leaders, you will help ensure solutions align with established architecture, governance, and compliance requirements. You will contribute to maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable platforms while supporting the responsible use of AI and automation technologies across the organization. Success in this role requires curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a passion for problem-solving.
