Software Engineer Internship – User Experience Team

The User Experience Team designs intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences that help customers achieve their goals efficiently. Through research, design, engineering, testing, and collaboration, the team ensures products are both functional and engaging.What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include:Provide day to day experiences of collaboration and partnership with various leaders and team members; focus on small scale deliverables, building interpersonal relationships, exposure to cross divisional elements of the Wellmark organization  Assist with the management and troubleshooting of multiple applications in support of Wellmark's systemsIn collaboration with application operations, assist and work with Technology and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and provide production support to research and find root cause for systems errorsDevelop business knowledge of the application necessary to effectively provide support maintenanceParticipate in the development of complex UI artifacts used by multiple development teamsMaintain documentation and code examples which describe usage and best practicesWork closely with UX Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure user experience is integral part of creation process from start to finishCollaborate in a team environment with shared code; disciplined use of source code control and process documentation.Ready to bring your strengths to Wellmark?
