Our client is currently hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to fill a temp-to-perm assignment at a skilled nursing facility. This job is working at a facility with 105 private rooms and 30 semi-private rooms, 85% productivity. The caseload is currently 4-6 patients, with the opportunity to build more. The ideal candidate should be interested in becoming a direct hire. Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist
- Provide quality speech therapy services.
- Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
- Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
- Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist
- Required Licenses and Certifications: Iowa License, BLS
- Education Requirements: Graduate of an Accredited Speech Therapy Program
- Competent in Video Swallow Studies; Adult Outpatient care including voice, swallowing, speech/language impairments.

Compensation
- Salary: $40-44/hour Based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.
