Location: Urbandale, IA (Des Moines)Duration: 1+ year to LONG termRate: up to $80/hr on OUR W2 Looking for strong senior backend Java or Scala developer with AWS Cloud experience A coding exercise is required as part of the interview process. JOB DUTIES: Working within an Agile team, develop scalable backend software, using TDD. Develop Java or Scala applications running in an AWS environment. REQUIRED experience:• 3 or more years of experience in designing and developing complex Java or Scala applications• 3 or more years of experience in building low-latency & high volume, distributed, scalable and reliable backend systems preferably in Scala or Java• 3 or more years of professional experience working on projects/products being developed on AWS• 5 or more years of experience in TDD, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and Agile methodologies• 5 or more years of experience in contributing in architecture and design of new and current systems• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, comprehension, and presentation)• Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
