job summary:

Our client is seeking a contract to hire resource for an IT Support Specialist role within the organization. This resource will oversee the setup, troublshooting and management of systems for the business units. IT support to the business focuses on effective communication/collaboration through office tools, mobile devices and sw systems.

This role will be approximately 30% Help Desk, 30% Asset Management, 30% Process Development and 10% Info Security Monitoring.

salary: $35 - 50 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Associates

responsibilities:

  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of current systems
  • Implement security measures, report and document associated activities
  • Monitor security certificates and ensure company compliance of requirements
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed, assist in license management and is the liaison to the business's third-party resources in Copiers, mobile devices, standard hardware, and software tools.
  • Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
  • Document processes established within this role's authority.
  • Purchase and maintain inventory of standard PC equipment, Office furniture, mobile devices, and their associated accessories.
