Staff Accountant

If so, this position is for you An established company in the Sioux Center, IA area is hiring a Staff Accountant to join their growing team! As a Staff Accountant, you will work as part of the broader accounting team to help the company achieve annual growth objectives.Responsibilities:

Manage company-wide Capital Expense request process and Fixed Asset software maintenance.

Prepare and post to the general ledger accruals and journal entries along with reconciliations as assigned.

Assist the Accounting Manager and CFO with the monthly financial statement review.

Process and file annual IRS 1099 and 1096 reports for AP.

Backup the AP team with AP invoices and disbursement as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Willingness to learn, improve processes, and develop key skills.

2-year business degree or equivalent work experience required.

Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, managers, and suppliers.

Must be efficient with computers, Microsoft Office products, and misc. office equipment.

Benefits & Pay:

$50,000-$70,000/year, based on experience.

Paid weekly or bi-weekly, will be discussed further during interview/hiring process.
