- Collect and analyze data in company systems
- Identify shortcomings of current data systems and propose solutions to resolve
- Filter and clean data
- Develop reports and data analysis
- Present data analysis findings and results
- Examine and evaluate current business processes for inefficiencies and potential improvements
- Work with end users, management, and process owners to determine additional requirements
- Collaborate with IT department and IT resources to implement requirements and improvements
- Test implementation of features and requirements for completeness, security, and usability
- Train users on current systems and new implementations
- Troubleshoot and identify technical issues with current and new systems
- Proven experience as a data analyst
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes, and technologies
- Hands on experience with requirements gathering, software development, and documentation
- Solid knowledge of business information systems and ERP systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems to include:
- Manufacturing orders, operations, routings, labor entry, shop floor control
- Inventory, MRP, BOMs
- Sales orders, ATP, forecasting
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical and technical people
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong knowledge of data models and database design
- Expert at data mining, SQL, queries
- Knowledge of report writers and presenting findings
- Knowledge of web programming (PHP) for the purpose of presenting data
- Knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) and DB2
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hybrid Workplace with 3 days in the office
