Technical Writer - REMOTE

HHS is seeking a Technical Writer to work directly with Product Owners, business SMEs, and data analysts to assist in understanding and writing supporting documents. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Job Responsibilities

• Work directly with Product Owners, business SMEs, and data analysts to assist in understanding and writing supporting documents
• This includes both technical and business runbooks
• Ability to understand complex technical and business concepts and document them in an easy to navigate and consume manner
• Ability to analyze and understand complex data models
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with Product Owners, SMEs, developers, Team Leads
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Expect to own the creation of maintenance of the following artifacts:
  • Business runbooks
  • technical runbooks
  • Data flow diagrams
  • Product manuals
  • User guides
  • API documentation
  • SDK documentation
  • JAD session notes
  • Architecture templates
• Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
• Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
