In this role, your work will focus on the development of effective, high-quality, globally aligned technical training content, enabling a distinctive uptime experience for our customers. In addition, you will:

Work with factory product line, global training delivery, and/or other stakeholders to gather training content requests

Collaborate with Instructional Designer to identify training needs and determine appropriate training requirements and delivery methods for our students, creation of solid course objectives, and design of consistent course materials, aligned with the global curriculum strategy

Collaborate with Instructional Designer and others to gain consensus and sign-off with factory product line, global training delivery, and other stakeholders on curriculum plans, including the planned courses, objectives and content, delivery method(s), translations requirements, content development milestones, and curriculum readiness dates

Develop technical training course materials, individually or collaboratively with colleagues in a global team setting, according to the agreed upon curriculum plan, as well as drive stakeholder content reviews during the development process

Drive course material hand-off discussion and activities with global training delivery stakeholders

Work with John Deere University team, ensuring training courses and course information is available to students

3 or more years’ experience in complex machine technical systems, including diagnostics

Ability to identify and capture project details, scope project milestones, execute the plan, prioritize the work, and work through multiple projects/tasks simultaneously

Strong communication and relationship management skills

Strong, demonstrated examples of driving collaboration and inclusion

Ability to make sound decisions

Change mindset

Ability to work a flexible schedule (early morning/evening) when necessary to support global business needs

Must be able to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
