Unit Supervisor III (evening shift/ BS Degree/manufacturing/ SAP) db

Description: The Material Handling Supervisor role will be responsible for the management of wage trucking personnel. The role will fulfill all wage supervisor responsibilities. The role focuses on safety, ensuring proper execution of internal plant material flow processes, and employee engagement improvements. This position will be a third shift position with opportunities to occasionally cover first shift. In addition to being responsible for the third shift material handling employees, the role will be responsible for executing a nightly third shift task list, managing incoming trailer responsibilities, and completing other material tasks as decided by the first shift counterpart. Here are the requirements for this role:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing/warehousing environments.
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel within company.
• Ability and comfort to work with or learn Microsoft and SAP/Oracle type computer software.
• Understanding of basic material handling and logistics concepts.
