Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will be playing a crucial role in accounting operations. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is vital for this role.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general ledger Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Analyze financial statements for discrepancies Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary Coordinate and complete annual audits Develop and implement policies and procedures Oversee the preparation and completion of the month-end close process Maintain a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk Advise on procedures and financial management as well as improving systems.Requirements Position requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role Proficient in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of General Ledger management is essential Demonstrable experience with Policies and Procedures in an accounting context is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented mindset and high level of accuracy in work Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
