Carpenter's Helper

Hiring Carpenter's helpers. Duties include using, moving or holding materials and tools. Loading and unloading tools, Cleaning and maintaining machines and equipment, working in coordination with team members maintaining an organized and safe job site. We work for a handful of area home builders and stay busy.

You need to be able to keep busy, follow instructions and communicate. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license, be able to stand for an eight hour shift, bend and lift repeatedly, and carry and move cabinets. Ladder work is common, so people with a fear of heights are not encouraged to apply. Applicants MUST have reliable transportation and an alarm clock they can count on.

You'll Learn the necessary skills to be a carpenter.

-Problem solving.

-Fastening trim or lumber with glue, screws, pegs, or nails and installing hardware.

-Learning spacing layout and measuring, marking, drilling and cutting.

-Learn to select tools, equipment, or materials to complete tasks

-Cut trim, lumber, or paneling to specified dimensions.
