Job Description
HCI is now hiringa Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to leadthe accounting and finance division for all HCI managed concepts. The CFO is a key member of the leadership team and will work closely with the business unit leaders to develop business plans, business processes and controls to deliver ‘World Class’ business services to our guests and customer partners. We are looking for an experienced, successful Chief Financial Officer with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.This is an office-basedposition located in Manhattan, Kansas.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct the finance and accounting for all of HCI'sbusiness units.
- Leads and managesthe finance and accounting team.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO.
- Ensureperiodic and monthly financials are produced timely and accurately. This includes financial statement preparation and distribution andincludesall supporting accounting records being reconciled.
- Directs annual budgeting process andregular business forecasting. This includes the profit and loss statements for all business units and cash projections.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Createand establishes yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plan for growth and expansion. Continually monitors performance to ensure business units achieve targets.
- Evaluateand adviseon the impact of long-range planning, and introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and in compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Facilitatethe annual audit and tax return preparation with the external audit/tax firm.
- Managebanking relationships and adherence to bank covenants.
- Establish and develop relations with leadership team and all business unit leaders.
Qualifications
- BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
- Experience creating and maintaining processes and systems.
- Excellent leadership experience managing high performing teams.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner.
