Description We are in search of a Claims Assistant in Overland Park, Kansas. This role is primarily centered around customer service and claims processing functions within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be working in a hybrid workplace, offering a balance between office and remote work. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain precise customer credit records. Handle new losses, verifying the accuracy of information via coverage. Register new loss information on the system and perform all file updates as directed by claim representatives or team leaders. Efficiently register loss payments on the system. Deliver high-quality customer service to agents, insureds, clients, and other customers. Prepare all loss registration forms. Respond to and handle incoming customer service calls. Use strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Utilize computer systems knowledge and data entry skills to manage and update customer records. Work effectively within a team environment and focus on self-development.Requirements Must have proficiency in Customer Service Required to have skills in Data Entry Should be capable of Reporting on daily activities Should be able to oversee daily Operations Experience in Answering Inbound Calls is essential Must have experience in Payment Processing Supervising skills are necessary Knowledge of 'About Time' software is a plus Should be able to handle Claim Administration Strong Communication Skills are necessary Must be familiar with Windows OS Proficiency in using Computer Systems is required Experience working Onsite is beneficial Ability to handle External Customers is essential Written Communication skills are necessary Must have good Keyboard Skills Experience in Claims Processing is a plus Knowledge of Insureds is beneficial Must be able to handle Registration Forms Familiarity with Chubb policies is a plus Knowledge of EO/IR systems is beneficial Strong Organizational skills are required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
