This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.Your ResponsibilitiesAs an Equipment Manager, Marketing and Customer Insights for John Deere located onsite in Olathe, KS; Cary, NC; Des Moines, IA; Moline, IL; you will

Be responsible for sourcing equipment, parts and attachments needs and arranging shipping to Ag/Turf shows & events.

Provide onsite execution including dealer relationship, receiving, moving, assessing, and repairing equipment. Duties may also include sourcing resources to repair damage to equipment during transport

Be responsible for accounting and forecasting responsibilities: handling, delivering, and owning the dealer-show charge process. Manage all consigned accounts to ensure no equipment passes over 365 days. Submit accurate consigned account forecasting to Regional Account Managers

Communicate with key stakeholders including Go to Market Managers regarding products, ordering information, and build schedules. Dealers to obtain Commitment for Equipment ordered into consigned account and spec equipment specific to what fits their customer base and place the orders. Order Fulfilment to ensure build slots are filled with cosigned account orders and factory delivery dates are acceptable, and show leads for equipment placement and coordinating move-in and move-out schedules

Collaborate with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget

Understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and become certified on equipment and hazardous handling

Accounting and forecasting skills - Ability to maintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, contracts for various pieces of equipment, and track orders

Build and nurture strong relationships with dealership sales managers, their trucking departments, and other personnel

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records

Ability to travel up to 50% based on business needs

Ability to work off shift/ weekends based on business needs

EducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Logistics, Budgeting and Forecasting disciplines or equivalent related work experience
