As a Fire Alarm Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of buildings by installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems. Your expertise in fire alarm technology and your commitment to quality will contribute to the overall protection of people, property, and assets. You will report directly to our Fire Alarm Supervisor and work out of our Kansas City, Missouri location on a hybrid work schedule, which may involve some travel. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations

Conducting inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm equipment

Collaborating with customers and other stakeholders to ensure their fire alarm needs are met

Documenting all work performed and maintaining accurate records

NICET II or NICET I certification in Fire Alarm Systems

Experience in installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems

Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and customer service skills

NICET II certification or readiness to obtain NICET II certification

Experience in programming and configuring fire alarm systems

Knowledge of other life safety systems, such as security and access control

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and commitment to quality
