Responsibilities
  • Design, code, and test program modules.
  • Maintain, tune, and repair applications.
  • Document software for maintainability, making revisions to processes and procedures as needed.
  • Follow coding best-practices and maintain corporate data integrity, reliability, and security.
  • Research, propose, and develop new features to increase speed and product performance.
  • Learn user functions, business processes, and organizational roles as required.
  • Collaborate as part of a high functioning team, comprised of technical and non-technical members.
  • Support the technical design process by participating in or leading the analysis of technical application requirements; ensuring product/project requirements are satisfied in the process.
  • Actively learn and stay abreast of new technologies and their role and potential benefit to our platform and information technology infrastructure in general.
  • Establish and maintain relationships and interface with clients, consultants, and other third-party vendors.
  • Ensure development guidelines, best practices (coding and security), and SOLID principles are adhered to by all members of the Development Team.
  • Understand team dynamics and leverage other department resources (e.g., BA, QA, etc.) to deliver functional, bug-free applications.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of C# programming experience with understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture including Microservices and RESTful Web API Services.
  • Ability to troubleshoot (debug) software and hardware issues.
  • Experience in SQL Server database design and implementation, Transact SQL (T-SQL), views, object-relational mapping tools (e.g., Entity Framework), and stored procedures.
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Visual Studio .NET 2019, .NET Framework 4.7+;
    • Web Application Development;
    • ASP .NET/MVC;
    • JavaScript UI Frameworks (preferably React.js or AngularJS);
    • Git, TFS, or other version control solutions.
  • Proven ability to create and modify unit tests, relevant to the solution being developed.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities (e.g., success leading projects, assisting with work prioritization and task delegation, encouraging collaboration amongst the team, and communicating effectively).
  • Experience deploying applications into Docker containers or at minimum, understanding of the container architecture and how to use it effectively.
