Key ResponsibilitiesIncorporate APFM Values into each customer and co-worker interaction.Develop, recommend, and implement human resources plans by establishing department accountabilities, including employment processing, compensation analysis, health and welfare benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.Manage human resources staff and operations by recruiting, training, and counseling; appraising staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining team customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.Lead human resources projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; evaluating milestone accomplishments.Educate and advise managers on performance management and employee relations.Assist in the development and implementation of manager education, including creating, scheduling, and conducting training sessions on human resource related topics such as performance management, employment law, and more.Administers employee benefit programs and manages annual open enrollment.Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications, including writing, and updating policies, procedure sand guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.Manage the HRIS and provide recommendations for change.Act as liaison and work collaboratively with payroll, recruiting, learning and development, accounting, and legal teams.Review and recommend changes to personnel policies.Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.  This includes compliance in each of the countries we reside.Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.Perform additional duties as assigned.
