Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production. This role bridges engineering design and production by optimizing workflows, tooling, equipment, and documentation while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production documentation.Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing layouts to improve safety, quality, and throughput.Support new product introductions (NPI) from design through full-rate production.Analyze production performance and implement cost, yield, cycle time, and waste reduction initiatives.Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA).Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause and corrective action (RCCA)Establish and maintain process control plans, PFMEAs, and standard work.Support capital equipment selection, installation, and qualification.Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety policies.Maintain a strong shop-floor presence to provide hands-on support and rapid response to production initiatives.Maintain professionalism with respectful communication, ethical behavior, and a positive attitude.
