What you should expect to do in this role:

·You will provide assistance with patient care, transportation of patients, specimens and supplies; cleaning and stocking the department, patient rooms and transport ambulance

·You will perform intra-facility transport duties

·You will support nursing personnel in providing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, and organized environment for healthcare delivery

·You will answer telephone and intercom efficiently and courteously, relaying messages and calls to appropriate personnel and other departments as needed

·You will maintain records and assure orders are carried out in an expeditious manner

What qualification you will need for this role:

·Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course

·Emergency Medical Technician certification through the Board of Emergency Medical Services

·High School Diploma
