This position will be a full-time contract and remote .What You’ll Do
Conduct inspections of warehouses in Marion County and central Indiana
Training and outreach coordination
Tracking and documentation; recall or consumer complaint tracking and documentation
Development and updating of standard operating policies and procedures
Additional general office duties as needed
What You'll NeedRequired:
Proficient in Microsoft's suite of software including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
Willingness to travel across the state for field activities and interstate for national trainings and conferences.
Preferred:
Completed college coursework relevant to food safety, microbiology, and/or public health.
Interest in a public health or food safety career.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
