Must be able to work Central Time Zone Salary: $Market Range and Flexible Visa: USC / GCs and no sponsorship Position: 2 Skills Needed:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in MIS/Computer Science, or a technology related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience securing network infrastructure with firewalls, endpoint protection, network admission control, e-mail security, MFA, vulnerability management tools, etc.
  • Experience with cloud security management in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Summary
  • If you have a passion for IT security, the drive to succeed in a fast-paced industry, the Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for ensuring business systems, application and data assets are protected by actively monitoring, maintaining, and improving security constraints.
  • The Cybersecurity Sr. Engineer should be well versed in various enterprise cybersecurity technology systems and will work closely with peers to ensure proper security controls and industry best practices are followed and in place for all current and future systems and applications.
  • The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer champions a security mindset to all the infrastructure environments and recognizes the value of security policies, standards, and procedures in the IT environment.
  • This position supports new cybersecurity capabilities while assisting in audits and assessments and the identification of vulnerabilities, remediation strategies, and effective safeguards.
  • The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer is supportive of investigations into incident response activities, analysis, risk remediation, attack mitigation, and post-incident reporting.
Position Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and manage various security tools owned by the Cybersecurity team such as but not limited to firewalls, IDS/IPS, decryption, SASE, endpoint protection, monitoring systems, e-mail security systems, privileged account management systems, vulnerability management systems, network access control, MFA, SSO, etc.
  • Coordinates vulnerability scanning and reports on the risks of open vulnerabilities to the AWG environment.
  • Contributes to and creates project plans, coordinates vendor and inter-team participation, builds and conducts tests, execute against the implementation plan, and tracks project progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at all levels across all business and technology functions to prioritize and provide guidance on improving AWG's overall security posture.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for issues escalated from the Customer Service Center and management.
  • Performs routine maintenance and risk remediation to enterprise cybersecurity tools and applications.
  • Participates in internal and external audits and security assessments.
  • Assists with the development of Cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
Proficiency with three or more of the following technologies:
  • UTM firewalls, Web content filtering; Web application firewalls (WAF), Enterprise/Cloud networking
Certifications such as but not limited to:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Security+, Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Vulnerability Assessor (CVA), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
Preferred Qualifications -(PLUS SKILLS ONLY):
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management
  • Experience with Governance Risk and Compliance
  • Experience with Cybersecurity Incident Response
  • Experience with SIEM, Syslog, or other Log Management tools.
  • Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V.
