Senior Financial Analyst for our Olathe, Kansas location.

As our Senior Financial Analyst you will support the Manager of FP&A with the company’s financial forecasts, annual budget process, budgeting tool, operating plan variance analysis and special projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer Prophix, the company’s budgeting software used for budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and headcount
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for forecasting purposes
  • Manage pro forma process to support sales efforts
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Supporting senior management team and business unit leaders with in-depth analysis, as requested
  • Prepare presentations to senior leadership and business unit leaders, as requested
  • Other Responsibilities Assigned by Manager
  • Some Travel May be Required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Experience with budgeting software tools, Prophix experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
