Job Title: Service TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to customer locations both domestically and internationally to install and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring high standards of customer service and quality are maintained.Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations to install or troubleshoot equipment with high regard to customer service and quality.

Install and service equipment according to drawings and engineered specifications.

Oversee installation projects onsite by delegating, communicating, training, organizing, and facilitating effectively.

Follow safety guidelines at all times and report any violations to management.

Perform in-house assistance to various teams when not in the field.

Complete required installation paperwork and expense tracking online.

Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

3-6 years of mechanical/electrical service/install experience, overseeing assembly and/or installation of quality specialized products.

Proven understanding of electrical/mechanical applications, project management, and quality assurance programs.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally (including weekends) up to 75% of the year and for extended periods of time.

Strong communication (oral and written), customer service, technical, and troubleshooting skills.

Sound organizational skills, proven ability to delegate tasks, and experience with customer relations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a Technician or Maintenance repair in the Amusement Park industry is preferred.

Experience with Heavy Equipment or Machinery as a traveling Service Tech will be considered.

Mechanical inclination and aptitude regardless of industry experience.

Own hand tools required.

Strong communication skills with a project management mindset.

Experience with electrical, mechanical troubleshooting, blueprint reading, installation, repair, preventive maintenance, field service, mechanical erection, mechanical rebuild, PLCs, hand tools, general maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics, schematics, electronics, power tools, wiring, and customer relations.

Work EnvironmentThis role involves traveling to clients 60% to 80% of the time, with the goal of reducing travel to 60% once the team is fully staffed. Travel includes both national and international locations. Major projects may require being on the road for 3-4 weeks, but the majority of travel engagements are less than a week. The position is onsite but remote work is possible, which will require more travel initially for training in Wichita.
